I am a friendly, relaxed and patient French-born tutor with over 25 years experience in teaching French as a second language.

In-person and online tuition available: I can travel to the students (within a 10 mile radius) and I can provide tuition online using Skype, Zoom etc.

My approach to tutoring provides solid grounding work on the structure of the French language (for example: grammar and spelling) to gain a strong grasp of the language which my students can build upon at every stage of their learning. I use a wide variety of methods, depending on the student`s personal needs, to ensure that my students` weaknesses in any area of the language are properly addressed.

In my opinion, learning a language also needs to be a pleasant experience, therefore I always try my best to make my lessons fun, interesting as well as useful.

Availability: week days and weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Experience: I have taught pupils of all ages and levels during my career as a private tutor, and I provide tailored tuition for all purposes (help with school exams, conversational French etc).

My previous pupils included young children (beginner level), students (mainly GCSE and A Level French), adults (advanced French), as well as members of the United Nations (I was the appointed tutor for the Canadian branch of the UN based in Northwood for a few years).
