Hello, I`m Nike, a qualified Maths teacher, specialising in the GCSE and A Level Curriculum with 11 years of tutoring experience. I graduated from Imperial University achieving a 2:1 in Mathematics and also the founder of Purely Maths, an online educational resource.

I`m passionate about helping students develop their confidence in maths and prepare for their GCSE and A Level exams. I provide support for GCSE resits and numeracy skills for adult learners and have experience working with SEN students. I`m an enthusiastic tutor and patiently explain difficult mathematical concepts in a way that is easily understandable. I believe it`s important to create a learning environment where pupils feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and also feel that they`re making progress in each lesson.

In the classroom, I worked to raise the achievement and aspirations of my pupils and after three years` experience in the classroom became the highest performing GSCE maths teacher in the department, helping my pupils exceed their target grades. I took on further responsibility where my role was to design resources that specifically addressed common misconceptions within the maths curriculum.

Pricing - KS3 and GCSE: £40ph // A Level £50ph

Availability: I am available during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and most evenings between 4.30pm and 7pm.
Also available to tutor online lessons.
