I have a fresh approach to teaching, making sure my students understand the topic they are studying rather than just memorising the details. Psychology and sociology is the study of the real world, and as such, students should be able to link theory to the wider world.

Availability: Evenings after 5pm, and weekends

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have been teaching for over 15 years, working with a variety of students with different needs. I worked in London, before moving to Nottingham in July 2011. I am currently Head of Social Science and am teaching Psychology AQA and Sociology AQA, both at A level. I have met and trained with cheif examiners, so am confident in helping students to prepare for exams in these subjects. I am also currently an examiner for AQA A Level psychology and have 15 years of experience of marking exam papers which helps me teach students how to answer exam style questions in most precise way.
