I am a fully-qualified English teacher with a BA in English Literature from Lancaster University and an MA in Gothic Literature from Manchester Metropolitan University. I am a Fellow of The Chartered College of Teaching, a great accolade for any teacher. As a full time tutor now, I keep my knowledge current by investing in my studies which, in turn, is of great benefit to the pupil.

I teach both Literature and Language, from KS2 up to and including A level and beyond. I also offer grammar school entrance examination coaching for all schools. I offer coaching for SATs and KS3 school entrance examinations. I can also help support non English natives with their oral and written skills.

I have tutored a hundreds of pupils previously, all with excellent results. I have worked on Tutorhunt for over 16 years. I have worked as an examiner at GCSE level and A level for the last few years, for a wide range of examination boards too, giving me key experience and insight into the exams.

I am available via this platform but can be found elsewhere too. Off platform, I offer a block booking discount - the more you book, the cheaper the rate, if paid upfront.

Natalie is a great, outstanding tutor. She has significantly helped me improve my English over 4 months of tutoring. Natalie has been absolutely fantastic and cannot recommend her enough. As a panic from my son about his confidence and understanding I was given Natalie`s number as someone who could possibly help. His predicted GCSE results were 4/5 in English Literature and 5 in English language (-C/C and C).
He obtained a C in literature and B in English Language, but after speaking to Natalie i got the English language checked as he had done so well in one of the particular areas and was completely overjoyed when he was told he had got a 7 . Experience: I have been teaching at a well-respected independent grammar school for the last eighteen years. I have been tutoring in person for seventeen years and online for seven years. I have worked for two large exam boards this summer, and plan to continue marking over the course of the year. I also work for NTAS National Teaching and Advisory Agency and Litdrive, and tutor pupils all around the world for a multitude of exam boards.
