Information about Tracey

I have been a teacher for 30 years. I have experience of the full age range and have been an acting head teacher. I left main stream teaching and set up an independent tutoring business 12 years ago. My client base is based on word of mouth as I have developed an excellent reputation in the community. I am involved in consultancy work and my expertise is for Special Educational Needs. Dyslexia, dyspraxia, autistic spectrum disorder, Irlen Syndrome and dyscalculia.
I am passionate about teaching and my ethos is based upon finding my students learning strengths. My students are the centre of my teaching. They are my curriculum or syllabus.

I am very pleased to announce that as of the 28th March 2013 I am now registered with OFSTED. There are a number of benefits to customers as a result of this registration.

Working Tax Credits
If you receive working tax credits, you may be able to claim as much as 70% of your money back from tuition, meaning that tutoring could cost you well under £10 per hour. For tuition by fully qualified teachers in a professionally equipped tuition centre, this is very affordable extra help for your child!
To find out if you are eligible to claim working tax credits, call the Tax Credit Helpline on [contact detail removed]
Employer’s Childcare Vouchers

If you receive childcare vouchers as part of your salary you can use these to pay for your child’s tutoring. We will need to register with your childcare voucher provider to do this. If your employer doesn’t currently offer childcare vouchers, ask them whether they would be willing to look into it. Both employees and employers can make Tax and National Insurance savings by using the childcare voucher schemes.

Availability: I can be contacted by email, landline or mobile anytime of the day or evening. Once my details have been released to you, we can then make a convenient appointment time for you and your child to visit my education centre for a free assessment. During the assessment, we can then discuss a regular, weekly or bi-weekly tutoring session.
