Information about Melissa
My name is Melissa. I`m 40 years old and a primary school teacher. I am also a mum to 3 boys. I live in a lovely little village called Litchborough, not far from Towcester. I tutor in Maths and English.

Experience: I have been a teacher for 18 years. In that time I have taught all year groups from reception to year 6, so I know the requirements for children at every stage of the curriculum. I have also recently worked for a local primary school doing maths intervention to help children prepare for SATs. Additionally. I work for the local county council tutoring children who are not currently in a school setting. I have tutored at home for 15 years, helping children of all ages and abilities to fulfil their potential. I am a very kind, caring and patient tutor. Children feel safe when we work together and this enables them to progress in their learning. My aim is to give them the confidence to do well and enjoy learning, whilst reaching their full potential. I am absolutely passionate about teaching and look forward to helping your child succeed.

Melissa is amazing, a gifted teacher, with great rapport with children. She has built my sons confidence in Maths in a short time. My son wants to take her to school so she can teach Maths there!

Melissa has been fabulous in improving Freddie`s mathematical skills and, more importantly, boosting his confidence.
This week he scored 40/40 in a KS2 maths practice paper that he would have previously struggled with. He came home very proud and believing he can achieve good scores.
Thank you Melissa for your enthusiasm, encouragement and skills as a teacher. I would warmly recommend you to anyone.

My daughter has made fantastic progress with Melissa. She actually likes maths now. Melissa is patient, enthusiastic, encouraging and makes learning fun. I highly recommend her as a tutor.

Melissa is a fantastic tutor, my son started visting her 6 months ago as he was struggling with maths at School. Thanks to Melissa he now enjoys the subject and has so much more confidence with it, she makes learning fun and he always looks forward to going!

My 6 year old has been with Melissa now for 6+ months and the transformation in his learning in maths and English has been extraordinary. My son is now able to do his times tables and writes freely (something he would protest to doing before). Melissa makes the learning fun interactive and my son never says he does not want to come. My wife and I highly recommend Melissa to anyone lucky enough to use her.
