I teach Creative Writing ( prose or poetry) either for assessment or personal interest so if you have assignments to complete I am a good tutor to choose as I know what examiners look for. If you are working on a long term project for personal development such as writing a novel or putting together a collection of poetry I can give very good help and support.

I enjoy teaching IELTS and over the years many of my adult learners have progressed to university as a result of the good bands they have obtained.

I also offer tutoring for GCSE English Language and Literature. I am patient and helpful and communicate well with people online and face to face, whilst keeping the student on track with learning.

Availability: Mornings, afternoons or evenings (I don`t mind late evenings) on weekdays. Saturday, all day. I can visit within ten miles or teach you online, wherever you are.

Experience: Experience: I have around 30 years experience of teaching and have worked in both private and state run education. I have returned regularly to teach at a well known private language school during the summer seasons since 2002. I also work for two well known colleges, as a tutor and assessor for Creative Writing and Creative Arts assignments, up to degree level. Most of my work these days is teaching one to one via the internet but I can also visit within ten miles of Shoreham by Sea.
