Information about Eileen
I`m a qualified teacher and have a BA In Childhood Studies, which I gained from Birmingham University. This consisted of three subjects English, Social History and Education. I completed a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education & Training, with English as my main subject, from Birmingham City University. I enjoy teaching immensely, and find it very rewarding when I see students improve, pass exams and achieve their true potential.
Availability: I can work weekends and evenings.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching English for several years, at both Primary and Secondary level. I am currently providing GCSE tutoring in English, and also at primary level. I also provide Primary Maths tuition up to year 6, and GCSE Maths tuition at Foundation level.
I also teach basic skills, English as a Foreign Language and Esol.
I am currently tutoring students for both the seven plus and eleven
plus entrance exams.
I also have experience of teaching pupils with special needs, in particular Autism.

Eileen has been tutoring my daughter for the past 6 weeks. Although it is too soon to judge overall improvement in my daughter`s skills, I am glad to see her engaging with her tutor. Eileen has immense amount of patience and is pitching lessons based on my daughters ability.
