- TEFL certified since July 2015, and have spent the past year teaching English as a foreign language in several schools and as a tutor in France.
- Just returned from my year abroad, spent in Lyon, France. Ideal tutor for anyone looking to brush up on their french conversation skills!
- Previously studied at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, which consistently ranks towards the top of the league tables at each stage of education.

Experience: English Teacher,
Les Petits Bilingues, Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, France (November 2015 – June 2016)
- Teaching children aged 3-14, in group sizes between 1 and 11, with the aim to make language learning fun for young students.
- Taught hour-long lessons at the centre in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune.
- Involved supplementing the core curriculum with additional activities, and writing progress reports for the students each trimester.
- Focus was on the communicative aspect using immersion teaching, but reading, writing and grammar skills are also taught.
- Tutored an individual student (aged 14) throughout the year.
- Also responsible for running several non-residential holiday camps, which combine English lessons with arts and music.

English Language Assistant,
Collège Vendôme and Collège Jean Macé, Lyon, France (October 2015 – April 2016)
- Working as a language assistant with the British council.
- Taught full lessons in two secondary schools in Lyon.
- Involved planning the curriculum and lessons, and teaching group sizes ranging between 5 and 20 pupils.

Au pair, Lyon, France (May - June 2016)
- Full-time au pair with care of 2 French/English bilingual children (5 and 3 years old).
- Responsible for undertaking pedagogical activities alongside the daily routine.

Teaching assistant,
Brigshaw High School and Language College, UK (October 2014 – March 2015)
- Assisted with French lessons at a secondary school in Leeds, with children aged 12-16 in class sizes of 20.
- Responsible for planning activities, and running supplementary conversation lessons.
