I am a part time teacher teaching in a primary school in Wallasey, and have two children; a five year old and a two year old.
I have been teaching for nine years; I am still highly motivated and enthusiastic about teaching and learning, and feel that I pass this on to my pupils. This is evident in their academic achievement as my pupils make very good to outstanding progress.
I feel that children are under a lot of pressure these days, and I believe learning should be fun. I therefore plan engaging and practical lessons to ensure they both enjoy and achieve.
I would prefer to tutor in my own home, and would provide drinks and a snack, as ‘brain breaks’ are important.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been teaching since 2009 and have taught both in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
I was department leader in KS1, until I decided to go back to work part time after having my second child.
I am currently teaching three days a days week in year 6.
I have also had a lot of experience in teaching children with special educational needs, and writing individual education plans and personal pupil centred plans.
