I am currently working as a Government Economist and gained a 2:1 degree in Maths and Economics at the London School of Economics.

I tutor Maths and Economics to pupils from primary school level upto A level. I offer online lessons only.

Availability: I am available on weekends, and some evenings on weekdays. I offer online lessons only.

Experience: Working as an Economist, a constant part of my role is to be able to communicate abstract concepts at a simplified level to non-economists and this skill has made a huge difference to students when tutoring.

I have been tutoring students for the past 14 years ranging from primary school level to A Levels. I tutor in a way that meets each pupil`s needs focusing on their weaker areas of the subjects and from my past tutoring experience, I am confident that a good grade can definitely be achieved for any student who has a good grasp of the concepts combined with the correct exam technique.

I heavily focus on both content and exam technique, covering past papers from the relevant exam board, to ensure that students are fully equipped to answer exam papers. Based on the student’s goals, I will initially put together a plan of action of the topics and questions we will cover over the next few months so that parents and students can be confident that everything required for the exam will be covered well ahead of the exam.

I am also a qualified coach and I incorporate coaching into my tutoring style. This helps students to feel more empowered and helps them unblock any negative beliefs that may be holding them back. This allows them to gain the most from the lessons, particularly when dealing with topics that they find challenging, as well as helps them manage and tackle any anxiety/stress that they may be feeling towards the exams.
