Experience: I have taught on and lead Graphic Design, Art & Design, Computing & IT and Design Technology courses for the past 10 years privately and at colleges, universities and schools from KS3 & GCSE and level 2 to BA (Hons) degree level. Former students have progressed to their dream jobs in companies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Sky, BBC, Box TV, Tribal, Havas Worldwide to name a few, or have gone on to their primary university choice.
I develop teaching materials for use across different creative courses, so am able to assist students in meeting the requirements for distinction passes for College and University.
As a fully qualified assessor employed by Pearson, I ensure that each student is continually assessed throughout the process and has a set task-plan of expected objectives to work towards in-between sessions. All work is accessible by students and parents/guardians through shared online folders to ensure clear and concise instruction at every stage.
I also teach technical skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup, Maya, Inventor from absolute novice to expert level as well as developing a strong foundation needed for progression into the creative sector.
As an experienced web designer/developer, I also teach the web languages of HTML, CSS and Javascri pt to enable students to develop fully-functioning commerce websites and web apps for their own clients.

Jay is the most amazing tutor he really knows how to teach my 15 year old.
He diagnosed his dyslexia and helped us sort out what to do about it. He is thorough with his research and very approachable and I cannot recommend him
Highly enough he also works as a Mentor for my son with the rest of his school work. If you book
Him you will
Not be disappointed!

Jay is an excellent motivational and inspirational tutor, he guided my son with his undergraduate course work and got the best out of him within the short time. This has positively impacted on my son`s attitude and further boosted his confidence for the future. I also find Jay very professional and honest.
