I am a qualified teacher and personal tutor with over nine years of experience and have worked with students of all ages. I am offering tuition in maths and science to GCSE and biology up to A level. I am also able to offer entrance exam tuition covering schools such as Belvedere Academy, Bluecoat School, Liverpool College, St Margaret’s and St Hilda’s

I have full DBS clearance (certificate available to view on request), a first class honours degree in molecular biology, a masters in biochemistry and primary PGCE.

I am extremely passionate about teaching and enjoy working on a one to one basis with students as it allows me to tailor each lesson to the individual`s needs. I feel it is very important to build a rapport with each student I work with, and I aim to make lessons enjoyable and relaxed but productive.

When working with children I believe it is important to liaise with the parents in regards to their child`s progress. As such I offer monthly feedback sessions to parents, during which I update them on their child`s achievements and any areas that I feel need more work.

I currently have several vacancies for new students however these will fill up quickly over the first few months of term.

Experience: I have worked as a personal tutor for over 14 years now, teaching maths, chemistry, English and biology to pupils aged between 4 and 19. I have worked with a range of abilities including students with ADHD and aspergers, dyscalculia and gifted and talented children.
