My name is Dr Stephen and I taught A Level Physics and Mathematics at the largest A level centre in Wales. I spent four years as Head of Maths, Computing and Physical Sciences but preferred teaching to admin so I returned to full time teaching. We have the highest A/B pass rate (>;;;;;;;70%) and overall pass rate (100%) in Wales for such a large entry with 26 grade As at AS in Physics in June 2006. In 2011 we had 48% A and A which was twice the national average.In 2012 67% of the students in my class obtained A , A or B. Three of my past students have been awarded the Institute of Physics prize for the highest marks in Wales. At home I give private tuition in both Physics and Mathematics at all levels from Key Stage 3 to A Level. I have over twenty years experience at A Level examining for most of the major examination boards. Many of my students travel long distances for lessons e.g. from Raglan, Bristol, Hereford, Chepstow and West Wales. I have previously taught at Cardiff High School. About one third of my students are from public schools.
