Hi, my name is Debbie.
I grew up in the North East of England before relocating to Long Eaton, Nottingham. I am a friendly, outgoing person who likes to play netball, go to the gym and spend time with my partner, little boy and girl.
I am currently in my 10th year of Primary Teaching, with particular strengths in Primary maths, Literacy and ICT. Within my current school, I am leader of maths and ICT across the school.

I have an in-depth working knowledge of the curriculum at key stage 1/2 and 3 including experience of coaching on a 1:1 basis.

I will teach Maths, English or ICT on a 1:1 basis or in a group class. I will plan a sequence of lessons matched to the current needs and abilities of your child which will be identified in the first assessment session. Each session will focus on overcoming the barriers or misconceptions preventing your child from reaching their full potential. Each session costs £30per hour or £20 for group session.

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Experience: I have 10 years of teaching experience behind me, with particular strengths in Maths, English and ICT. I am a member of the Senior Leadership team within my school and have responsibility for coordinating maths and ICT throughout both key stages.

I have a proven track record of raising attainment through 1:1 tuition and preparing children for their end of Key Stage SATs.

Throughout my 10+ years of teaching I have planned, taught and assessed children of different abilities and those with additional needs. I can adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of your child to ensure they feel at ease, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
