I have been a full-time tutor for over 24 years now, working privately for families and for many primary and secondary schools across the UK. Much of my work relates to building a child`s confidence with their learning and encouraging them to fulfil their potential. No tuition session has a set structure and I will always tailor my approach to suit each student and their particular needs. I have tutored many pupils with complex needs and I have had a great deal of success in helping them to progress. Exam preparation is one of my specialisms and I have helped hundreds of students over the years to achieve the grades they required in their GCSE and entrance exams. I have also tutored many students who went on to pass their 11+ and achieve the expected level in their SATS. On a personal level, I have enjoyed playing cricket since childhood and over the last 4 years, set up a brand-new cricket club from scratch. The club has become very successful and plans to establish a junior team next year. I have 2 grown-up children and enjoy country walks with my family.
