Information about Millie
I am a friendly, approachable tutor with a love of literature, languages and travel. I believe learning can be a fun and rewarding experience and always try to create a positive learning environment for my tutees.
My obsession for good grammar and writing took my to my current role as a communications lead for a French environmental non-profit. I also use my writing skills as a freelance writer and editor.
I recently returned from 6 years living in the French Alps where I worked for a ski school - so I know that while learning can be a daunting experience, when you`re in the right hands it can be fun too!
Availability: Very flexible and available most days and all evenings.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: Experience privately tutoring family and friends for GCSEs and entrance examinations.
My extensive experience working with children includes working for a children`s events company and at a children`s bookshop. I have also been a teaching assistant at a ski school, so I completely understand the need for a fun, safe learning environment!
