I am a qualified and experienced primary teacher.
I am available for online tutoring.
I am calm and patient when teaching and I prepare well for lessons, providing what is needed for individual pupils.
I can also provide relevant homework.

Availability: Preferably from 4.30 Tuesdays or Thursdays but other times may be possible.
Online tutoring can be arranged at a day and time to suit you.

Experience: I am an experienced and fully qualified primary teacher. I have worked as a teacher for 4 years in Year 1 and Year 2 classes. I have also worked as a supply teacher (teaching all primary age groups) for 6 months.

My PGCE qualification in Primary Education had an Early Years specialism (3-7 years) so I have a particularly good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 curriculum.

I have a great knowledge of teaching maths, writing and reading strategies (including phonics) at Primary level. I am used to preparing students for the Year 1 phonics check and also Year 2 SATS.

Recently I have been working with a range of primary and secondary pupils with Special Educational Needs including Autism. I am therefore used to adapting learning to suit the needs of different learners so that all children can make progress and enjoy their learning.
