I love Psychology! We can use it everywhere from understanding ourselves to understanding others. I also enjoy working with young people and can break the specification down into a way you will understand it and apply it to exam questions. I will teach you what the examiner wants to see written in different types of questions. Study skills are a huge part of being a successful A Level student and I can show you techniques which I know work.

Availability: I am available during the day, morning and afternoons as well as evenings.

Experience: I teach the AQA specification. I have been teaching A Level Psychology for 11 years and I have worked in a selective successful sixth form college in North London for 10 of those years. Last year the results in my department were 71% A*-B and a 99% pass rate. I have been a head of department and an advanced skills teacher specialising in teaching and learning. My students comment on my approachability, I will go over things until you understand them. A Level success is also dependant upon applying your knowledge to exam questions and I can help you understand what the examiner is looking for and improve your confidence. Having moved to Dorset in November last year I will begin teaching at a girls grammar school and a boarding school this term.
