Information about Rachel
Hi!
I`m very friendly and understand how daunting and uncomfortable it can be to seek out one-to-one help in a subject you don`t feel confident in. I truly believe all students can achieve, given the right attitude, the right work ethic and the right teacher. Having been a classroom teacher for sixteen years, I moved to offering private tuition exclusively nearly two years ago and find it very rewarding. I have a range of experience with a variety of different students and am able to stretch the most able and support those who are struggling. In the past two years I`ve also gained lots of experience of educating school refusers, home-schoolers and those with anxiety issues. I enjoy finding creative learning solutions and am happy to liaise with schools and education authorities in the process of supporting my pupils. For me, one-to-one is about knowing the student, understanding their educational needs and finding teaching solutions to enable confidence and academic progress.
