Information about Jessica
Hi there, my name is Jessica and I have a degree in Human Biology obtained from Oxford Brookes University in 2018. Whilst at school I studied Maths and Psychology to A-Level and English to AS. Whilst at school I was an active member of the tutoring programme for younger students where I coached them during lunch hours.
During my time at Oxford Brookes University the modules I had most academic success in included pathology, Infection & immunity, physiology, nutrition and cell biology.
Whilst at University I worked as a student ambassador which allowed me the opportunity to get involved in lots of leadership roles in local schools. Alongside facilitating residential stays for GCSE students offering them guidance and support about their next steps.
I am now studying for a masters in Cancer and Therapeutics at Queen Marys University. I would like to say my friends would describe me as a friendly, caring and compassionate individual who has always had a love for teaching.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, playing basketball, cooking, traveling and socialising with friends.
Availability: Monday to Sunday; 8am to 8pm
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I was a mentor for two years whilst at school primarily teaching maths and biology to younger students within the school.
I also mentored children from a neighboring school in English and Comprehension.
