I work as the Head of Psychology at a high achieving, independent school in Sevenoaks teaching the International Baccalaureate.

I have an extensive background in Psychology including a degree and a PGCE teaching qualification from one of the top training institutes in London. I am now in my 7th year of teaching and am an examiner and part of curriculum review boards.

I have experience teaching the International Baccalaureate and A Levels (exam boards AQA and OCR and Edexcel). I tutor several students (UK and international) weekly over the past six years and am confident in my ability to deliver tailored sessions to students.

I’ve been nominated twice by my students for the Pearson`s Secondary School Teacher Award.

Availability: Weekdays after school/evenings.

Note - I am happy to conduct sessions either face to face or online.

I am a friendly and approachable teacher with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to learning, which includes many visual, verbal and quirky strategies to help students remember large quantities information. I can help with essay writing skills and teach students how to answer questions effectively.

I am an adaptable in my approach to teaching and can tailor my tutoring to the pace and style of the student, focusing on strengthening their areas of need in order to help them achieve their grades.
I can provide tutoring either at my home or yours and I am happy to tutor in a small group as well. With the pandemic, I have been tutoring some students online and am confident with delivering tutoring sessions over the internet.
