I am a patient, creative and understanding teacher, with over 20 years of primary teaching experience.
I have a passion for pupil-centred learning, whatever their age or ability.
I provide lessons in Key Stage 1/2 maths and English, as well as tuition for the 11+ examination.
I mentor trainee teachers and those new to the profession.
I also teach maths and English to adult learners.

Availability: I currently have availability for lessons on Monday and Tuesdays from 4.15pm.
I can also teach on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Experience: I have been a primary school teacher for over twenty years and have a vast experience of teaching children aged 5-11 years in all areas of the curriculum.
I have also worked for the Institute of Education as a lecturer and tutor on teacher training courses.
I am passionate about finding new ways to inspire and motivate pupils to learn.
I am particularly skilled at breaking down barriers to learning, so that pupils enjoy the learning process.
I strive to increase a pupil’s confidence in their own ability, thus enabling them to achieve their full potential.
