Information about Kent
Hi,
I`m a fully qualified primary school teacher with 7 years of experience and up to date DBS check. I have worked with children aged 5-18 and all ranges of ability. I thrive on the challenge to identify children`s barriers to progress and then guiding them passed them.
I have taught most subjects but I have a passion for maths. I link maths to real life where possible so that children see the point in learning, giving them a context to help understanding.
I have also taught and tutored in year 6, developing an excellent understanding of what it takes to pass the SATS.
I really enjoy tutoring for the 11+, it is so different to everything I usually teach and I actually enjoy solving the problems myself! The 11+ is challenging for any child and helping children pass to get into grammar school is hugely rewarding.
I am fully CRB/DBS checked and currently work as a teacher in Wickford.
I am happy to work with children 1:1 or in groups up to 5.
I hope to hear from you soon!

Kent has been a great tutor and not only does he have a great rapport with my child, he has also given him the confidence to carry out harder subjects in class.
