I`m a native Italian tutor, graduated with a first-class honours in languages (French, English, Italian) and literatures.

I have 6 years experience in working in a secondary school in North London. This job has made me realise how much I love supporting people`s development, seeing their progress, and the importance of inclusive teaching. I deal with all types of learners, from high achievers to those who need a little extra help. I have also worked with students who have Down`s syndrome, dyslexia, autism, dyspraxia, cognitive delays, ADHD, behavioural problems and conduct disorder.
I also love working with EAL pupils because I can give them several strategies on how to improve their English. Furthermore, I have attended several professional development training sessions about how to best support EAL beginners, differentiation strategies, speech and language therapy and so much more.

I`m able to offer tuition in Italian, EAL (English as additional language) and French.

My aim is to work towards the goals my students have, so all you need to do is let me know what is your learning style, what level you are aiming for and I`ll do the rest!

I thoroughly plan all of my lessons (instead of using traditional textbooks). I always follow a specific structure and I try as much as possible to use the Total Physical Response method, making sure that my students effectively learn and memorise new vocabulary by having fun. I will give you plenty of materials, resources and memory techniques on improving yourself. As regarding homework, I usually only ask to revise what we have previously learnt or read a short story tailored to the student`s level.
