My name`s Matt. I have studied English Literature and Language at GCSE, A-level and at university, so I have a broad understanding of the subject and I am more than happy to provide tuition in any area.

When teaching, my approach is to focus on areas that students find difficult. I try to foster critical thinking in my students, to ensure that they can come up with answers themselves and are confident in their capacity to learn new things. I consider myself a patient and supportive tutor, and I try to make students feel comfortable in lessons and confident with the material at hand. I make lessons engaging and where possible try to incorporate students` interests, as I believe that people learn better when enjoying themselves.

Availability: Weekdays, between 2pm and 9pm

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, both in-person and online. I also have experience of tutoring and mentoring Secondary School students. I have recently realised that teaching is a passion of mine and later this year I will be be starting my PGCE Teacher Training course.
