I have over 18 years experience teaching Chemistry at Secondary School using the AQA GCSE Chemistry syllabus and I also teach A`Level Chemistry. I currently teach at a secondary school rated outstanding by Ofsted. I am committed to student excellence at all levels of their learning. I have good interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.

I am passionate about teaching and committed to providing students with the very best in teaching and learning. I enthuse students by teaching imaginatively and employing a variety of teaching styles to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. I have high expectations of students and support them in achieving their best academically, developing confidence, building resilience and enjoy learning.

I developed an interest in teaching at a young age. I first started Biology tutoring after completing my A ‘levels and following this I’ve always had a passion for teaching. This gave me the opportunity to help others with their learning, foster a clear understanding for scientific concepts and achieve their full potential. I have been teaching for over 18 years to date. I began my teaching career in the Caribbean and continued my career as a teacher in the United Kingdom.

I am a qualified Science teacher focusing on teaching General Science at Key stage 2 to key stage 4; Chemistry at key stage 4 and 5; and Biology at Key stage 4. Having the experience teaching at the classroom level as well as tutoring, I understand the advantages of one-to-one instruction and I will endeavour to meet the needs of individual students I tutor to develop their scientific knowledge as well as improve their confidence and ability to explain scientific complexities. I am committed to the overall success and achievement of the students I teach and will endeavour for them to achieve their best potential.

Availability: I am available on Monday to Thursday evenings from 2pm to 7pm. Also Sunday’s from 2pm to 7pm.
