Hi Parents/ Students,

My name is Lavannya and I`ve been tutoring since the last 6 years from years 6 to 11 in Maths and Physics.

Teaching, for me is all about seeing growth and confidence in children and making complex concepts fun and interactive.
My teaching motto is "Making Maths Fun!" And yes, it`s possible!
I provide weekly homework, and also help with difficulties in school work/ school homework. I prefer conducting parent review meetings whenever they are necessary and I am open to short term sessions too.

Education in the UK curriculum from year 4 onwards hence I`m well versed with the UK curriculum system, as well as aim to aid those students who are transitioning through from a different education system.

6 years of private tutoring experience - tutees from year 6 to year 11 (GCSE)

University program for making an academic difference in low funded community schools where I have volunteered to teach high potential children in low funded schools. These children have surpassed their target grades in their GCSE exams making the 2 year program a success

Having tutored children of mixed ability and behaviour, I`ve continually shown patience and zeal when bringing out the hidden abilities and personalities of students.
Every lesson is tweaked according to the learning style of the child.
