I am a qualified teacher (former Head of Department) with a Mathematics’ Degree. I have been teaching for over 20 years in both comprehensive and grammar schools. I am happy to teach at all levels from GCSE (foundation or higher) to A level and University entrance exams.
I enjoy working with students of all ages, but particularly secondary school students. I am very patient and love seeing students make progress. I will always focus on building confidence, enabling the student to make solid progress. Without confidence, progress will always be limited.
All my sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the pupil, identifying any misconceptions and using a variety of strategies to help the student to make progress. This leads to greater resilience and enjoyment and an improved outcome.
