I am a kind, patient, friendly tutor. I am enthusiastic and approachable and I also understand that learning is different for every individual. I try to make learning fun as I think that most people learn best when they enjoy the lessons.

I have a young daughter myself and I have been volunteering in primary school for the last 7 years, working with children of all ages from Foundation to Year 6. I have a great deal of understanding of working with children and the different ways in which they learn. I have experience in working in small groups and on a one to one basis.

Additionally, I have been a qualified solicitor for 22 years, working in a career that requires high standards of literacy and maths as well as the ability to engage and work with people.

Availability: I am generally available on weekdays between 9am-3pm and I also have some after school availability

Experience: I have a lot of experience of working in primary school where I am popular with the children. I have experience in working in small groups and on a one to one basis with all ages from foundation to Year 6. I have worked on a range of subjects across the curriculum including literacy, maths, history and art as well as cooking with small groups of children.

As a solicitor, I have led small teams and provided training to other professionals, paralegals and newly qualified solicitors as well as providing guidance to the rest of the team. I am used to providing clear training and detailed explanations, often in relation to difficult concepts.
