Open, welcoming, positive and kind; sets pupils at ease quickly. This enables me to begin informal assessments of what they know and can do, and what they need to learn from the very first session.

I pay meticulous attention to detail when assessing, planning and tutoring to ensure that every lesson represents excellent value to pupils and parents.

Each lesson is planned and evaluated carefully to meet individual needs and maximise progress.

I offer:
-Prepararion for exams: 7+, the 10+, 11+, SATs,

-GCSE exam prep & lesson support: particularly English, but also including geography, history, business studies, mathematics, chemistry and biology).

-Highly skilled and experienced in teaching pupils with a wide range of special needs and specific learning difficulties

-Makes a measurable and/or observable difference in the skills, confidence and success of pupils with ASD, ADHD, SpLD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and a range of other conditions.

What to expect:

- Weekly lesson plans tailored to your child’s needs and shared with you.

- Ongoing informal observation, assessment, two-way feedback and advice to pupils and parents.

- Weekly reflections on lesson plans, with next steps as well as suggested consolidation & exploration activities to try at home.

- [Clear, open, professional and honest communication.

- Evidence of progress and development, and the celebration of small wins along the path towards the greater goals.

- [Engagement, enjoyment and some laughter as well as learning!

With extensive experience in online teaching and tutoring, I am equally able to help your child to meet his or her learning goals online or in your home.

5/5 Rating

Leila is clearly an experienced teacher. I have been searching for someone with clear and evident 11+ experience and grammar school exam experience and finally my prayers were answered when I met Leila. Leila is obviously extremely skilled in her subject. She’s a delight to be around positive enthusiastic. My daughter is very happy, comfortable and inspired around her. Leila addresses the shortcomings in a kind approachable manner and puts in the work to ensure the base and root understanding of everything is achieved before diving into the detail. I believe her approach is thorough, well thought out and her constant online google Drive updates are fantastic. Leila writes a review after every single lesson so we know the progress shortcomings and improvements we need to make. The homework is set out extremely clearly so we are able to easily get on with it during the week. I would highly recommend her!
