I am a qualified Early Years teacher with 28 years experience in independent schools. I have held many senior leadership roles in schools including Deputy Head and Headship at a prestigious independent schools in North and West London.
I passionately believe that a strong academic start in Early Years education and KS1/2 will lead to success in later years. The ability of young children to learn and achieve when faced with high expectations and quality learning experiences cannot be underestimated.
My approach has lead to great personal success with children working towards 5, 7, and 11+ as well as Common Entrance Exams. Many of my pupils have achieved places at schools such as St. Pauls, St. James, Merchant Taylors, St Augustine`s, John Lion school, Hamptons ,City of London and Notting Hill. Having spent my entire career in the independent sector I am very well aware of what is required academically for these schools.
If your child is sitting 11+ or Entrance exams or even experiencing difficulties in particular subjects I can help with a careful patient approach where understanding is achieved allowing pupils to achieve their academic goals. Teaching is one to one and is tailored to each individual child and their particular learning style.
