I am a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor and Primary School Teacher. I am very passionate about teaching and really enjoy watching children develop their academic ability and self-confidence. My tutoring style is based on developing children’s confidence in areas they find difficult and helping children to become independent learners, able to apply knowledge and solve problems in a range of contexts. Every child is different and I tailor my tutoring sessions to each individual child’s needs, providing my own independently prepared resources.

Availability: I will be available for 1 to 1 tutoring sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm. I may also be available for 1 to 1 tutoring sessions on Saturday mornings from 10am.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I am very passionate about helping children to learn and develop in confidence. I studied to be a Primary School teacher at St Mary’s University College in Twickenham. Since graduating, I have gained experience teaching all primary year groups through a series of full-time teaching positions and through supply teaching. I have most recently spent 4 years working at St Peters Church of England Primary School in Hammersmith, rated outstanding by Ofsted during my time of employment. For the past year, I have successfully tutored a number of children from St Peters for 11+ entry school exams, SAT’s preparation and have tutored other children in English and Maths to raise their attainment and confidence. Furthermore, I have also taught English as an Additional Language (EAL/TEFL) at a range of Education First Colleges to students from all over the globe!
