I am a Media Studies and Film Studies specialist trained teacher who has been teaching Media and Film Studies for 15 years. I am employed as Head of Media Studies and Head of Year at a successful independent school and am a trained Lead Practitioner who has had training from OFSTED. My latest A Level results were 100% A-A* and GCSE results were over 50% grade 7 and above with the highest VA in the school.

I am responsible for the planning and assessment of Years 10-13. I have experience delivering the AS and A Level curriculums for both Media and Film Studies in addition to Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC and GCSE Media Studies. I have been an examiner for AQA and am both an examiner and NEA (coursework) moderator for EDUQAS.

I also quality assure and produce educational resources for a well known online education website.

Availability: Weekday after school/evenings.

Experience: PGCE in Media and Film Studies in addition to 15 years teaching experience. I am a trained Lead Practitioner (a consistently graded Outstanding teacher in lesson observations who also trains other teachers to help improve their practice) and I have a Masters in Education.
