Information about Oliver
I graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in June 2014 with a MEng in Chemical Engineering. After working for a year in Cambridge as the Operations Manager of the ADC Theatre, I moved to London in 2015 to start a Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Direction at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Having finished at Mountview, I now work as a freelance Musical Director and Musician and work as a tutor in my spare time
As an engineer turned musician, I have a very logical mind but also believe in bringing creativity and fun to education. My time at Cambridge opened up a wealth of opportunities for me and I too want to help children achieve their full potential so that they can go on to succeed in something they are passionate about.
Availability: Weekday Evenings and Weekends, Occasionally Weekdays during the day.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: For the last few years I have worked as a tutor, both privately and also through Tutorfair. I have given lessons in secondary school science and mathematics as well as Piano and Music Theory. I have a lot of experience preparing students for GSCE and A-Levels and in particular I specialise in Oxbridge and Russell Group University candidates. I have experience delivering lessons both in person and over Skype.
I am primarily based in Belsize Park, but as I have a car, I am happy to travel all over London.
