I`m currently a 4th year medical student with 3 years of tutoring experience. Having achieved 3 A`s at A level I believe I am aware of what is required to excel in examinations. My core focus involves covering high yield content, using the specification as a guide to ensure the lessons are tailored to maximise grades. Having tutored all different ages I believe I am able to break down concepts in a clear and concise manner ensuring my students thoroughly understand even the most difficult of topics. I use active recall during lessons and continually test students on past content to ensure they are accurately remembering the information in time for examinations. The lessons will also involve past paper practice and tips on exam technique. I regularly communicate with parents and provide feedback where needed, I also provide homework after lessons that I will review in the next sessions. I am happy to have my students determine exactly how they want to run their lessons in whichever way they are comfortable.
As a 4th year medical student I am also able to offer advice on university applications and interview practice.

Experience: I have had 3 years of tutoring experience. During this time I have tutored KS3 maths and science and also GCSE maths and science for the AQA specification. I also tutored high yield GCSE maths concepts to students at my high school in preparation for their formal examinations. Having tutored ages 4-12, I am comfortable with communicating and engaging them in lessons to ensure I am maximising their abilities. I have also had experience with tutoring workshops for medical students and have done numerous online revision sessions with them. This involved breaking down difficult concepts to an appropriate level.
