Hello, I`m Carl, an experienced, qualified primary teacher who has worked for the last 8 years in a local Dorset school. I use a variety of approaches to make learning interesting and fun so that my students can get the most out of lessons.

I particularly enjoy teaching maths and literacy using a variety of interesting resources so that children enjoy lessons.

During my time as an employed teacher, I have been responsible for teaching a mixed class of year 4 and 5 children, teaching year 6 maths, and teaching a mixed class of year 2 and 3 children. As a class teacher of a mixed age group class, some of whom also had special educational needs or disabilities, I am confident at differentiating work across a wide range of abilities to ensure that all children can reach their full potential. I am passionate about making lessons engaging and interesting so that children can really love and enjoy learning. Alongside my class teacher role, I had subject responsibility for Computing, History and Geography.

My personal experiences with home education mean that I am confident in supporting home educated children in a variety of subjects.

Availability: I am available on Saturdays and Sundays
