Information about Emma
My name is Emma, I`m 22 and I`m a fourth year medical student at Newcastle University after achieving A*AA in my A levels.
I really enjoy the communication aspect of teaching and feel that I will be able to work together with the pupil to overcome problems in order to improve understanding in a focused but informal environment.
Availability: I’m taking on new students for November 2022! I can only offer online tutoring right now due to the nature of my degree but I’m a dab hand with the online lessons - promise they’re just as good as my in person teaching!

Experience: I have 2 years of retail and customer service experience in a fast paced environment, meaning I have excellent time management and problem solving skills as I am able to adapt to the customer and fulfil their needs.
I am a part time carer to a younger brother with severe ASD so I have high patience thresholds and also very good communication skills - I can go over a concept as many times as the pupil may need and from as many different angles. This also means I prioritise the pupil and their needs throughout the tutoring as I know firsthand that people work best when they feel at ease and unrestricted.
I have completed my A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and I achieved A*AA (A* in Biology) and I am now studying medicine meaning that I have a very solid and applied understanding of my subjects.

Friendly and easy going, has different ways of teaching if you don`t understand something. Open to learn new things with the student if she`s not familiar with the topic. Makes the student feel at ease while learning.
