Dr. is a biochemist and molecular biologist who received both his BS and PhD in Biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of California, Davis. He is a former University of California Davis Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology Training Program Fellow, UCLeads, and MacNair scholar. In addition to his work in the Dept. of Neurology at UC Davis, and studying cancer as an intern at OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, Dr. has served as a teaching assistant for classes including: Structure and Function of Biomolecules, Proteins and Nucleic Acid: Structure and Function, Biomolecular and Biomedical Engineering Lab, and Bioenergetics and Metabolism. He believes that a better understanding of science and the human body will pave the way for development of better medical practices, and is passionate about passing on his knowledge to others.
In his free time, Dr. enjoys tennis, biking, and is an avid fan of Harry Potter.
Availability: Available 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM, seven days a week.

Experience: Education: PhD and BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a designated emphasis in Biotechnology.
Experience working as a teaching assistant for 8 years in classes such as: Structure and Function of Biomolecules, Proteins and Nucleic Acids: Structure and Function, Biomolecular and Biomedical Engineering Lab, and Bioenergetics and Metabolism.
Experience in teaching in youth programs, including: Discovery Museum "Meet a Scientist" program, UC Davis Biotechnology Program`s Picnic Day Science Outreach, and Teen Biotech Challenge program.
