I have a BSc degree in Scientific Computing from London SouthBank University and PGCE with specialisation in Mathematics from University College London. I am passionate about teaching Maths and believes that every student can develop and achieve their full potential when they work and adopt the appropriate learning style. My pass time hubbies includes playing sports and music; I have always used these as a motivational tool for getting my Maths students to practise acquired skills and techniques over and over.

Experience: I have over 29 year experience in teaching Mathematics and Information Technology. Most of my teaching has been in the Further Education sector. I have also spent some time teaching in Sixth form colleges. I have taught Maths from Entry Level Numeracy up to HNC/D first year (Key stage 3 - key stage 5 plus).
I always start my tuition with a baseline assessment in order to help design a bespoke learning programme for each of my students. I am more than happy to set homework if we both agree during our planning stage to facilitate progress monitoring on regular bases. I have had current training on the new specification for both GCSE and A Level Mathematics and therefore I am familiar with the syllabi of all the major awarding bodies.
