Information about Kinga
I am a private tutor with 4 years experience in private tutoring and 1 year of teaching experience working as a Maths teacher at a Saturday School with small groups of KS3 and GCSE students, as well as 1:1 sessions. I am experienced in tutoring students from primary level through to GCSEs, both privately with 1:1 sessions and in a school environment.
About myself:
I am a final year medical student at St Georges University and have completed an additional degree (Bsc (Hons) for which I received 1st class). Due to my training to become a doctor, I am DBS verified. I have always scored well academically however due to attending schools in deprived areas I am aware of the challenges students can face when they have lack of support and resources.
My tutoring style:
I understand the stress and struggles of exams and I know how challenging it can be for students to get the grades they wish for, especially if they need some extra support away from the classroom, or struggle with misunderstanding concepts during lessons. I am patient and understanding and I am prepared to identify my students` strengths and weaknesses in learning and adapt to teach them in an individualistic way to achieve the best grades they can - I believe that in education there are no limits. - I achieved the highest GCSE grades at my high school and received the `Most Academic Girl` Award for my year group.
ONLINE LESSONS:
I am providing lessons via zoom where I email work in advance of the session and share my screen during sessions so we can discuss and go through questions and I can teach new concepts. I use interactive whiteboard features via my laptop which enables both myself and my students to use the same screen and go through questions together. I provide homework for each session based on the identified concepts which my students find the most challenging to ensure I can identify further gaps in their knowledge. I also provide feedback and fully communicate with parents every few weeks to ensure they have a full understanding of how the sessions are going and plans for future tuition.
Availability: I am currently available during the week and on weekends over the upcoming months.
Message me with your availability and we can come to an arrangement around my current tuition lessons.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: 4 years of experience in tutoring numerous students privately for KS3/GCSE Maths and Biology in particular. 1 year teaching experience working as a Maths teacher for KS3 and GCSE Students at a Saturday school where I received teacher training sessions and worked alongside plenty of teachers and headteachers.

Kinga is experienced and a knowledgable tutor. She keeps her lessons effective and engaging. My daughter always enjoys the lessons, she once said - maths is easy with Kinga. My daughter being in Y6 was struggling with maths and English but since she started tuition with Kinga she developed her confidence in both subjects. We recently received the end of year report saying that she has made huge progress this year. I definitely recommend her! Lucja

Kinga has been teaching my Primary school aged son. She was able to adapt to his shy personality very quickly, and is teaching my son maths at his own pace.
My son understands her method of teaching and is very happy with the progress he is making with her.
I would highly recommend Kinga, she is polite, professional, considerate, and patient, all the attributes you would look for in a tutor.

I am so delighted that I decided to ask Kinga to tutor my daughter. Since we started our weekly sessions, I`ve found Kinga to be nothing but professional and courteous, displaying a very positive can-do attitude. Kinga is always prepared for each session and makes sure that she is using material which is suited to my child`s needs. We discuss problem areas beforehand and Kinga always arrives with work tailored to exactly that. My child is quite shy and Kinga manages her well. I asked my child for her opinion of Kinga for this review and she said that she finds Kinga to be kind and caring.

Kinga has recently spent some time with my son assisting him with his English Revision Prep. Although it was only a couple of sessions, she managed to improve his confidence in the subject and steered him in the right direction.
