Experience: I have been playing drums since nine years old and have performed in a range of settings that include orchestras, big bands, brass bands, folk, jazz and rock bands. Based in Brighton, I now play drums for local wavy surf-rock band Moss Palace.

I studied music at University of Sussex where I developed my knowledge of performance, composition, music history and theory. During this time, I had the opportunity to explore Latin-American drumming with Dave Wickins at Trinity College of Music.

Furthermore, I am a qualified teacher and have completed a PGCE. I teach music at a primary school in Seaford, following a successful year as head of music at a middle school in Staffordshire. I have a passion for educating and a clear vision for musical and instrumental learning.

In addition to this, I gained a wide range of mathematic knowledge through my A Levels and PGCE Primary.
