Hello!

My name is Jessica and I offer private German tuition. Whether for your GCSEs, A levels or an upcoming holiday, I can help you improve your language skills in a friendly, informal environment. Though born in the UK, I have strong German roots as my mum is German and I was brought up bilingually. I absolutely love Germany, the German language and German grammar. I am currently training as a Speech and Language Therapist via De Montfort University, so know too well what it means to learn and study for exams.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends, day time and evening - my university timetable varies every week making it hard for me to specify certain days, but I will always have some weekday time free.

Experience: I have an A* in GCSE German, an A in A level German (before they did A* for A level!) and a first class joint honours degree in French and German with distinction in spoken German from the University of Nottingham. I worked as a foreign language assistant in Trier, an English teacher in a Berlin Kindergarten and a Business English teacher in Paris, giving me valuable language teaching experience. I lived in Berlin for three years after my first degree, and go to visit family in the Black Forest region a couple of times a year.
