Teaching and mentorship have always been a keen interests of mine. From volunteering in local schools as a sixth form student to leading a junior politics initiative in primary schools at university I have always been dedicated and passionate about learning and education. My skill set is primarily in English Literature and Language having achieved a high 2.1 in my English B.A from University College London. I also have ample experience tutoring English Language and Literature at 13 +, GCSE and A level. All my former students have performed excellently and been accepted into their top choice schools and universities.

I strive to vary my teaching style to meet the learning needs of individual students. I have received high performance reviews for my ability to creatively make complex topics manageable. I have a patient, kind and understanding teaching style, making sure to adapt my teaching techniques to the student`s own strengths, weaknesses and preferences.

I prioritise quality control and support. Students need both academic support and emotional encouragement and guidance to truly make the most of their education and prepare them for university and beyond. From my own academic experience, both confidence and encouragement were integral to my journey towards academic fulfilment and success.

School Tutoring Scheme: I set up an informal tutoring network within my boarding house where Sixth-Form girls would help younger students with subjects they struggled with.
