I am an experienced, caring, competent maths teacher. I use creative, imaginative, and positive reinforcement strategies to help student’s access and apply math skills. I have gained extensive knowledge and experience working as a tutor since 2011.

Currently I am a full time tutor. I love tutoring. Tutoring has enabled me to improve the life opportunities of so many young people, enabling them to continue on to colleges, universities and courses of their choice. My advice to parents is that it is worth spending the money to hire the right tutor for your child, as most students thrive with dedicated attention catered for their learning ability.

It is my belief that all students benefit from doing at least one hour of home work each night to extend their learning and to fulfil their true potential. I provide all the necessary resources students will need and follow the nation curriculum.

I have personally developed many techniques over my 8 years in teaching, to help teach my students unique methods not taught at school/college. My methods have not only proven to be more engaging, but have helped students improve their grades and understanding significantly. All of my students are well ahead in their class and are expected to make at least two sub levels of progress within 6 months. My students have high success rates such as moving up from set 3 to set 1 or from foundation to higher tier within a short time.

I am a very passionate maths teacher and can motivate my students to progress to their desire level of learning. I have many testimonials by the students themselves and their yearly test results.

The curriculum, for all school ages, now require students to have resilience in their problem solving abilities, and to hold a concrete understanding of the concepts in order to be successful in their examinations. This success is achieved by students having the time and appropriate facilitation to explore the necessary concepts - which is exactly what I am able to offer
