I graduated with BA(Hons) in English Language from the University of Sussex in 2006 and worked in Marketing and PR for a number of years before pursuing a career in medicine.
I began studying at Barts and The London School of Medicine in 2011, having completed Biology and Chemistry A-levels. I am now in my 3rd year at medical school.
I spent this summer tutoring a young girl with learning difficulties, which has challenged and improved my teaching ability. I am a firm believer that each child learns in an individual way and one-on-one tutoring is about finding the best learning style for that child. This can then be used to teach the syllabus material and also help them to appreciate how they can adapt their learning to suit them.
For the past 3 years I have worked with medical school applicants, providing guidance in writing applications and interview technique and would be happy to tutor students in this position.
