I am an experienced and effective English, Film and Media teacher. I have taught KS3, GCSE and A Level English Language, English Literature, GCSE Media Studies and A Level Film Studies throughout my 5 year career. Additionally, I have a background in deployment and marketing in the Corporate sector and experience of working in the Peforming Arts Industry.

I passed my teacher training year as an outstanding teacher and have achieved outstanding results in my most recent year of teaching. I am currently based at a St Albans school. I am passionate about helping students to further their understanding and achieve the grades they are hoping for.

Availability: Monday: 9.30am - 2.30pm and 6pm onwards for evening sessions
Tuesday - Friday inclusive, available for 1 hour sessions between 4pm - 6pm. Later sessions are available upon request
Saturday and Sunday: 9am until 12pm
Lessons outside of these times can be arranged on an occasional basis.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher of English with 5 years of teaching experience. I am currently curriculum leader for Film and Media Studies. Prior to teaching, I worked in the Corporate sector as a Deployment Manager. I have a First Class Honours Degree and a Masters Degree. My teaching has been consistently been graded outstanding in lesson observations, with pupils making rapid and measurable progress. A key strength of my teaching practice is my relationship with students. I have prepared pupils for GCSE and A-level examinations.
