Ruth

I am fully qualified both as a teacher and as a veterinary surgeon, so can call on my wide experience to help students achieve their best. I have two daughters and a foster son, and have been able to help them through difficult periods both in their studies and in their personal lives so that they are now studying subjects they love at university. I have a great deal of patience and can usually find creative ways to help students learn.

Availability: Most days I have good availability, though I tend to get booked up quite quickly in the second half of the academic year.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have taught in both the state and the private sector, and continue to do supply work in various schools in the area as needed. I have been tutoring for several years and am proud of the success of my students. I continue to learn myself and challenge myself with Open University courses - currently in Maths! - each year.
