Im a fully GMC registered practising medical doctor with an MBBS and intercalated BSc (Haematology) degree from Imperial College London. I`m currently taking a career break to be at home with my two young children. I was working up until the birth of my elder son (who is now 2) as a medical doctor in Watford General Hospital. Since then I have been tutoring Science (specifically focused at GCSE level) and also preparation for 11plus exams in the Watford area. I took up tutoring as I am particularly skilled in as well as very passionate about teaching Science and this has also allowed me to be with my son at home but at the same time utilise my expertise and experience. In that time I have also had another child- my daughter who is now 4 months old and after taking a short maternity break I am keen to get back to tutoring. ***Please note, I am now based in the ROMFORD area and can travel to the surrounding areas***

Availability: I`m available during weekdays from 6pm onwards and all day at the weekends.

Experience: Most recently, for the past year I have been tutoring several students for GCSE Sciences (across all exam boards and those doing combined as well as separate sciences). I was tutoring at a tution centre at Parmiters School in Garston on Saturdays. There I was tutoring science aross all ages from year 7 up to GCSE level, taking groups of up to 5-6 students at a time. Alongside this I was tutoring 4 GCSE students on a one to one basis in Science at the students homes. I have also tutored 10-11 yr old students for their 11plus examinations.

All my students and their parents were extremely satisfied with my tutoring style. I have received positive feedback on several occasions that I have explained some very difficult concepts in Science to the student in a very easy to understand, organised manner which has allowed them to not only get a good grasp of the subject matter but also be able to build their knowledge further using those concepts as a base due to their sound understanding of it.
I have also helped my students build effective exam strategies and techniques and this was reflected in the way their marks improved both in practice papers as well as when it came to official assessments.

In the past, when I was a medical student, I have tutored 11-16 year old girls at a community centre, leading a class of approx 20 students. I have also informally tutored my peers during A-levels at my Sixth Form (Seven Kings High School) in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology.
I have always been tutoring my peers along the way throughout my school, college and university life and have helped a lot of them to achieve higher than expected. This is because not only have I always been passionate about teaching things to others, I also naturally possess the skill of teaching in a way that is clear and organised which makes even hard things easy to grasp.
I am able to teach all subjects to GCSE level and the Sciences to A-level. I can also teach medicine to degree level. I have 6years working experience in the hospital setting as a medical doctor.
I have all A grades at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology. I have 5A* and 5A grades at GCSEs. I have always been a high achiever and in my A-levels my A grades are all above 95% (certificates and mark sheets available).
Furthermore I have an MBBS and an intercalated BSc degree from the prestigious Imperial College London renowned for its medical research and is amongst the top 10 universities in the world. I can help students prepare for interviews and help them with personal statements to maximise their chance of getting into the university of their choice.
