Hi, I’m Ashvika, a first year university student studying medicine. I specialise in tutoring Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at all levels up to A - levels and I also offer tutoring in Maths, English etc across various levels.

Availability: I`m available weekdays and flexible with times. On the weekends, I am available in the mornings and afternoons.

Experience: I have a broad teaching background working with students of all ages, from primary school to sixth form. In addition, I have hands on experience supporting children with disabilities which I developed through my volunteering work at Marjorie McClure school where I gained valuable skills in adapting my teaching approach to meet their unique needs. I use a flexible teaching approach to accommodate a wide range of learning needs. By employing strategies such as diagrams, analogies, and active recall techniques, I help students grasp complex concepts and retain information more effectively. My goal is to build student’s confidence in their abilities, enabling them to achieve their academic objectives. Additionally, I provide guidance for students preparing for entrance exams, including the 11+ and UCAT helping them to develop the skills and the confidence needed for them to succeed. I’m a kind and patient individual which helps me a build a welcoming environment for my students where they can openly ask questions and check their understanding enabling them to progress in their learning.
